Design Moves

Design Moves showcases local Art Community

Last week, more than 50 professionals attending Design Moves Opening Mixer had the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and enjoy some of south Florida’s most talented artists.

Design Moves worked with partners from local Oakland Park businesses who were encouraged to collaborate with the hybrid marketing and design company in hopes of unifying the community through the theme the evening, “Grow With Us”. Dicks Services Station, Tenth Level Tavern, In Her Zone, and Urban Farming respectively contributed to the event.

The highlight of the night surrounded the local artists showcasing their latest pieces on the walls of the Design Moves office. Sacha Suarez, Penelope Fedor, Kre8, YaniPaints, and Beth Autumn were the featured artists of the evening. By including a diverse group of artists Design Moves hoped guests would understand that inspiration for design and marketing is taken from all around them. They wanted to create an inspiring space for guests and clients at the event alike.

“We take inspiration from things all around us and by having these artists here we hope we provide something that inspires you,” said Marketing Assistant Monica Kioshi.

The Opening Mixer was the first time Design Moves has opened it’s doors to the Oakland Park & South Florida community since relocating from New Jersey. The estimated 2-hour long event persisted well into Friday evening showing what a successful, fun and inviting environment the Design Moves team created.

Linger Magazine was a proud partner of the Design Moves Opening Mixer.
