Rue La La Teams Up with Erin Robertson, Winner of ‘Project Runway’ Season 15

Boston-based brand and designer bring winning style to 16M members through curated boutique

Rue La La, an innovative e-commerce destination known for connecting world-class brands with the next-generation shopper, taps Erin Robertson, winner of Project Runway Season 15 to curate and model for a boutique comprised of her style selections.

The online boutique launches today, Monday, April 17, at 11AM. Products were handpicked by the designer and are bold in every sense of the word. Think: sequins, bright colors, and feminine details. Both women’s clothing and edgy accessories are featured in the event.

“It’s hard to say what I love most about Rue La La! Super-fun handbags, sassy heels and classy clothes…not to mention the custom set they painted just for me,” said Erin Robertson, Designer.

Rue Now™ (Rue La La’s editorial site) conversed with the designer on all things “Project Runway,” sustainable fashion, and her next big thing. The interview goes live in tandem with her boutique.

“Erin is cool – plain and simple! From the makeup choices to fashion selects to set creation, each step of the collaboration was vibrant and lively,” said John Camilleri, Executive Creative Director, Rue La La.

The brand’s in-house studio creative team produced a hand-painted banana-themed backdrop for the shots. The bubbly and playful design mimicked her personality and approach to the shoot. “She exudes confidence – which is everything our brand embodies. Perfect fit!” said Camilleri.

The boutique will be open on RueLaLa.com until April 19 at 11AM.

Founder joins planning committee, appointed as first newsletter editor

 

Boston, MA–November 8, 2015 –  Linger Magazine, a monthly luxury publication nominated by PR Couture as one of “8 Digital Magazines You Should Know”, announced today the appointment of its founder & editor in chief, Tiffany Tate, as committee member of the Women and Fashion FilmFest (WFF) in New York City.

In addition, Tate was appointed by WFF founder, Jeanine Jeo-Hi Kim, as the festival’s first newsletter editorial director where Tate will lead creative direction of the quarterly newsletter distributed to its committee members, sponsors, partners, supporters and celebrity panelists. As WFF is endorsed by UNESCO’s International Council for Film, Television & Audiovisual Communication for its artistic and socially minded programming, Tate will design a newsletter that will strengthen the festival’s mission to highlight work by women and diverse international emerging artists as it enters into its 3rd year of production.

“Appointed to the helm of WFF’s first official newsletter is such an honor for me,” says Tate. “Having a committee that is fully committed to the goals of WFF is important to Jeanine and feeling that I was a good choice for the editorial role due to my work with Linger Magazine makes me proud of the work that I do.

The new partnership is just the tip of the iceberg for projects in store for Linger Magazine. Rounding out the plans for 2016’s editorial calendar, Tate is preparing for Linger’s biggest year to date – its first runway installation in Los Angeles, a video production partnership, moderating a bloggers panel event and the production of its largest annual print issue to date.

HOM introduces South African wine to a broader international audience. South Africa is the eighth largest wine producer in the world and its wine industry employs more than 400K people.
